How it works

Groups

Five or six groups take turns cleaning. One group is on duty each week; the more groups take part, the longer the gap between turns.

Teams

Each group has five teams (A–E), about ten people in total. A team is two or more families or individuals who are in touch and coordinate. If someone cannot come, they turn first to their team.

Cleaning areas

Each team cleans one of the five areas. You choose an area on the spot, first-come first-served — take any free one. If only one is left, you clean that one. See the Map page for an overview of the areas.

When to come

Come during your week whenever it suits you. There is no need to come together as a whole group or team.

Substitutes when you cannot come

Arrange cover yourself: first your team, then your group, then anyone else in the ward. It is your responsibility. See the Rules for details.
